Pulling for good vibrations

I am greatful for Denny, who is just a text message away. I am greatful for friends who are respectful of my home and stuff. I am greatful for my parents and their late Christmas gift of a pottery wheel. I am greatful for the professor who sold me the pottery wheel. I am greatful for cats who know how to be cute at just the right times. I am greatful to have the ability to keep my cool in stressful situations.

Wouldn't it be nice if I got a genuine apology today? Wouldn't it be nice if I find lot's to clean at work? Wouldn't it be nice if I felt productive and helpful at work today? Wouldn't it be nice if there is anime night at Jeffrey's tonight? Wouldn't it be nice to sit and relax with my friends? Wouldn't it be nice if I finish my school applications this weekend?

Today, I intend to be a good person. I intend to be positive, happy, and forgiving. I intend to be productive at work and a pleasant person to talk to. I intend to doodle when I'm bored, and work off the cleaning checklist. I intend to pet lot's of cats and dogs today, and if I'm lucky, a rabbit.

I love Denny. I love my friends. I love my family. I love the animals in my life. I love my art. I love my art room.

I am excited for anime night, sitting with my friends and watching something new. I am excited for an open weekend.

Advice from me to me: You're on your own today. Consider this a challenge, and a window. What can you learn from this that makes you stronger? What have you learned about others? Where do you proceed from here?

Smile, breathe and go slowly today.

  1. I love these lists Sarah!! It's always so important to stay positive and reflect on the good things in life and the more often you do it, the more naturally it will happen.

  2. Thanks, that's what I'm trying to do. I woke up in a particularly bad mood today and was trying to shake it.
