Thoughts on the new year.

Well, I didn't get my to-do-list for today done, well, except the going to work part, that's mandatory ^^; I went (attempted) sledding with some friends the night of that big blizzard we had, but my asthma decided to kick my butt, and it's been lingering in the form of a heavy chest and cough since, so I haven't felt very excellent. Tylenol Cold is love for days like today. My poor DenDen Muushi seems to be worse off with all sorts of ickiness, I hope he feels better soon!

Now that the Fall semester of school is over, I'm at a loss with what to do with my new found free time? I need to get used to it quickly, I plan to only take one class next semester and work a lot, and I DO NOT want my entire life to revolve around work and procrastination. Yuck!

It's that time of year to reflect on the last 365 days; what went right, what went bad, and what's next to come. I'm not going crazy with New Year's Resolutions this time around because I decided not to wait to start my weight loss goals. I do think it's important to start figuring out a plan for 2011 however, I have some important stuff that needs to happen in 2011, and the opportunities to make these things happens come up quickly.

My friend Bennville posted on twitter about Vision Boards, and I'm glad she did! A vision board is a collage of photos, magazine clippings, drawing, quotes, anything that inspire you and evokes emotion. The goal is to visually create something to help you identify your goals. I think this is a project I'd like to start tomorrow, although I think it's fair to say this will be an ongoing project!

Vision boards fall back on the theme of the "Law of Attraction," surround yourself by good things and good things will come. Amongst some of my hopes for the new year, I hope to focus a lot more on the good things, less on the bad, lifestream more, relax, and just remember to be myself :)

Don't forget to be yourself either.
